Jay Z Speaks and the White House Gets Questioned. Obviously.

(This Week in Blackness) – So this happened.

And then this…

CUBA-US-BEYONCE

Obviously rap songs are on the record recordings of all things factual. If it was rapped about then it happened and needs to be addressed by officials. There’s never any hyperbole or exaggeration. Rap music is the world’s only completely factual art form and I, for one, am ecstatic that people have finally realized that. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to listen to the factual adventures of Rick Ross and sit in wonder as to how he continues to move so freely even though he’s such a boss and moves inordinate amounts of weight.

P.S. There’s also no way in the world that speaking to the Department of Treasury could be looked at as speaking with the White House. Everyone always specifically labels departments and branches of government and would never say “White House” or “Obama” if they meant some other portion of government.  I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE WE’RE CLEAR.

That journalist should take a civics class just for a refresher in disjointed government departments. I’m sure the big issues of the day can wait another couple of weeks.

That journalist should lose her job. She is completely worthless. Ma’am go pack your desk in this provided cardboard box.

    Thanks,

  14. Calming Influence April 11, 2013 at 7:35 pm

YIKES! Was that the Church-Lady-est reading of a rap lyric ever? I was afraid she was going to go on: “…and then I believe the song repeated the line …you are certainly going to be learning something today… That frightened me!”

“I guess nothing rhymes with ‘treasury’.” Hahaha. Hold on… gotta check some conservative websites for lists of words that rhyme with ‘treasury’.

“Rap, for black America, is like our CNN.” See, Chuck D knew this in 2001, way before white women from Politico.
